Cancerians who want to understand themselves better should begin with their Moon sign. It's easily found in your birth chart. Cancer is ruled by the Moon and the classic 'need to be needed' which comes with the territory, is channelled through the Moon sign.
In Aries (for example) you end up with a Cancerian who is naturally suited to life in the police force, the military, the fire brigade and so on. This person needs to be needed by being an Action Woman or Action Man. Even if their career consists of a mild office job, there is frequently a hobby or interest which expresses the 'call me for SOS help' side of the Aries Moon.
